Minister of Sports Sunil Kumara Gamage has appointed a new reforms committee to implement structural changes within Sri Lanka Cricket. Notably, veteran lawyer Upul Kumarapperuma, representing Matara, has been appointed as a key member of this committee.
Chaired by Eran Wickramaratne, the committee includes several prominent figures from the world of cricket:
✅ Former legendary cricketers Roshan Mahanama, Sidath Wettimuny, and Kumar Sangakkara. ✅ Prakash Schaffter, Dinal Phillips, Avanthi Colombage, and Thushira Raddella.
The appointments were made in the presence of Deputy Minister of Sports Sugath Thilakaratne. The primary objective of this committee will be to provide solutions to the current challenges facing the sport in the country.
